Selecting embroidered point colour combinations
This can only be done on boards I have not yet renovated, but I normally have a stock of both mid and full-size walnut boards waiting to have a new baize playing surfaces fitted. Embroidery is a maximum of 4 initials in a choice of one of four colours of silk thread (ochre, black, flame or turquoise). The choice of the colour of the woollen baize playing surface itself is limited for the moment to the classics; 'billiard table green' or 'olive green'. The choice of the silk thread for the embroidery of the 'points' is currently limited to either ochre & black, or flame & turquoise. The typefaces currently available for the initials are Baskerville, Apple Chancery and Zapfino, in upper-case (capital letters) only.

The final price will vary depending on the final choice of board, but for a 'standard' walnut, mid or full-size board in good condition, with a fine marquetry chess board on the outside, the total price, including a custom-initialed baize playing surface, will be somewhere between 700-850€.
